NEW BOOTS

07-06-2010

NEW BOOTS Initiator of Football Maties, 12 year old Mick from Netherlands saw the need for soccer boots in South Africa for local soccer teams. He then started an organisation where people can donate soccer boots. After the boots have been collected Mick sends it to South Africa.

On the 2nd June 2010 soccer boots from Football Maties have been handed over to a Refugee soccer team called Refugee 6. The team was very excited when they received the boots. Thanks to Mick many more local soccer teams will receive soccer boots and has BAFANAKIDS found a proud new partner!

Sponsor your team

In 2010 South Africa becomes the first African host of the FIFA World Cup football. Ironically there where the most loyal supporters live - in the townships - the facilities are the worst. To many clubs decent kits and a training field are unaffordable luxuries. Bafanakids.org gives you the chance to make a lasting difference that doesn’t stop when the World Cup does.
