BAFANAKIDS VICTORY

On 13 June 2010 Lucky Stars (sponsored by Holland International) and J.L. Zwane (sponsored by Samsung) competed in the Fifa Fan Fest U11 street soccer tournament. Each team had to play 7 matches against other competing teams.
Lucky Stars U11 team were the stars of the tournament! They showed lots of skill and had very good ball control, even though they were of the smaller players in the tournament, they showed that size does not count!
The first match played did not go that well for Lucky Stars as they lost but they did not give up and came back fighting even harder than before winning 6 out of 7 matches with a total of 15 goals scored for the tournament, more than all other teams. These boys were so focused in doing their best and impressed everyone with their passion for the sport.
J.L. Zwane went from the lowest score in the tournament to one of the top scoring teams. Unfortunately, they did not win but they played with so much heart and brought energy to the tournament.
Lucky Stars were the victors of the tournament! They worked hard to win and deserve it. We look forward to seeing these boys playing professionally in the future as their talent blew everyone away.
