4th Kicking out Xenophobia Match
06-07-2010
On 28 June 2010 Refugee six had Their 4th Match Xenophobia Kicking out in Du Noon.
When the team arrived at the soccer field where clause They Were Going To Play Their Match Against Strikers Eleven, Refugee Six were very shocked at the condition the field was.
It was very sad to see That Were there so much potholes and grass to play on Hardly but it did not stop the teams from playing a good match.
The teams got together to shake hands before the game. Were there a lot of support, it was amazing to see how interested the community had to back up the teams, not just Eleven Strikers but Also Refugee Six. At the end of the game the score was 3-1, interleaving Eleven Strikers as victors. Both the teams lined up for the final handshake to show respect for the game and that was Played Also the team players.
After the game, then everyone headed to George Kwa possessions to lunch and watch the soccer match on TV. The teams bonded very well as Some of the Opposition was from a foreign country and Also They Could Relate to Each Other. Difficult it was to separate the teams as They enjoyed eachother's company More Than They had anticipated.
What a success this match Have Been, we look forward to having many more matches, just after the World Cup to help raise awareness about Xenophobia!

In 2010 South Africa becomes the first African host of the FIFA World Cup football. Ironically there where the most loyal supporters live - in the townships - the facilities are the worst. To many clubs decent kits and a training field are unaffordable luxuries. Bafanakids.org gives you the chance to make a lasting difference that doesn’t stop when the World Cup does.
