Bafanakids soccer clinic by Ajax Cape Town

Bafanakids soccer clinic by Ajax Cape Town On 5 November 2010 Hans Vonk and Ajax Cape Town hosted a soccer clinic for 2 Bafanakids soccer teams, Goals Hunters U19 sponsored by Job Realisation and Cultural Roots sponsored by Interhome.

These 2 teams won the Fifa Street Soccer Tournament during the World Cup and each one was given the opportunity to train with Hans Vonk and Ajax Cape Town coaches for a day.

This Clinic was a huge success! The kids were totally focused and wanted to do their best to impress their heros. It was hard work and the kids were treated like professionals for the day and were pushed to do their best but at the same time having great fun.

Ajax Cape Town then handed the kids with little goodie bags and the kids were given some food, after a hard days work. They were also given an inspirational talk from Hans about what it is like to be a professional soccer player and the importance

Thank you Ajax Cape Town for making the day special for the kids!

Sponsor your team

In 2010 South Africa becomes the first African host of the FIFA World Cup football. Ironically there where the most loyal supporters live - in the townships - the facilities are the worst. To many clubs decent kits and a training field are unaffordable luxuries. Bafanakids.org gives you the chance to make a lasting difference that doesn’t stop when the World Cup does.
